For your information, Warwick Dog Training Club closes for the month on August & reopens in September each year. We also close for the week of Crufts & for 2 weeks over Christmas.
Things you will need to bring to classes:
Please bring this with you on your first week training with us. Dogs must be fully vaccinated. Puppies that are too young to be vaccinated (by veterinary advice) may be permitted within the club for socialisation provided you, the owner, accept full responsibility for any risks to the puppy.
Flat Collar & Lead
The ideal length for the lead is about 6ft. Please don't bring your dog with a flexi lead, harness, choke chain, halti or similar. (We do not agree with the use of choke chains).
The floor can sometimes get slippery if mopped after 'accidents' so please wear shoes with grip.
Something moist like chicken, cheese or sausage cut up into small pieces, your dogs usual dry food won't be interesting enough for training sessions & commercial dog treats may be too salty or dry.
These can help with training but please don't bring squeaky ones as that might drive the other dogs mad for it too!
This is your responsibility. There is a bin provided on the grassed area outside the club for disposal.
